I say us players start voting with our limited game funds, & show Giants that we are getting tired of their shafting us players. A vicious cycle that is just a big money drain for us players. Plus, many don't want to bother purchasing them since Giants will shortly break the program again & require everyone to buy the new version, along with new dlc. This is mostly due to the cost of the dlc packages. The vast majority of dlc I cannot use (even though I own it), since my friends to have the same dlc.

Most games update their current game, adding features & such to improve, while the same time not forcing players to jump to a new 'version'. At the same time charging a lot of money for the game. This is one of the few games that instead of updating the current game, they break the game every so often to kick out a new version. I believe many modders are leaving the game for various reasons such as moving onto new games, lack of interest of updating mods, or just getting tired of the constant headache of having to update mods, that Giants should just allow the previous version be used in current games. This then requires modders to edit & update their previous mods. The biggest problem is that with each version, Giants breaks (or just tosses out) the previous mods.
